Venue: Bridgewater Estate Auckland
Soft tones, sculptural blooms, and quiet elegance for a modern love story.
Yue and Vern’s wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and intimacy, set against a lush subtropical backdrop that called for florals as graceful as the occasion itself. For this couple, every detail was considered with care — and the flowers were no exception.
Yue came to us with a clear vision, a complete mood board with her desired colour palette of white, ivory, and blush.
The Bridal Bouquet
We designed a sculptural, asymmetrical bouquet composed of romantic colombian and garden roses in cream and different shades of blush, modern anthuriums, delicate phalaenopsis orchids, and textural touches of preserved Ming Fern. This statement bouquet was modern yet timeless — a perfect match for her structured yet flowing gown. And for the Groom's buttonhole, we used a single orchid to echo the bridal bouquet.
Ceremony & Reception Styling
From the “Cards & Well Wishes” table to the reception tablescape, every floral touch was intentional.
Welcome Table Arrangement: A low, abundant centerpiece of blush and ivory roses, paired with riceflowers and lisianthus, greeted guests with warmth and charm.
Reception Design: We opted for clustered bud vases and soft taper candles to maintain a clean, airy feel on white linen. The florals — in muted pinks and creamy whites — brought understated luxury to each guest’s seat. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets were also placed on the bridal table to add abundance.
Our Floral Philosophy
Yue and Vern’s day was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do — celebrating love through considered floral design. Each petal was chosen not just for its beauty, but for the way it helped tell their story.
At Willow & Peony, we believe that florals are more than just decoration — they are an expression of feeling, of character, of connection. This wedding was a true reflection of that belief.
