Venue: The Brigham Restaurant & Café, Auckland
Surrounded by the lush gardens of The Brigham Restaurant & Café, Xenia and Daniel’s wedding was a celebration of romance, softness, and considered beauty. At Willow & Peony, we had the pleasure of designing the florals for their day—from intimate details to full arrangements—guided by a refined colour palette of white, blush pink, and peach.
A Bouquet Full of Quiet Grace
Xenia’s bridal bouquet blended white and blush roses, white lisianthus, and delicate Queen Anne’s lace. Soft in tone and full of movement, the bouquet was romantic and timeless—reflecting the grace of the bride and the gentle energy of the day.
To complement her look, we created corsages for the bridesmaids and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen, all echoing the bridal bouquet in tone and texture, bringing harmony to the bridal party’s florals.
Aisle-Defining Ceremony Flowers
Two ground arrangements were placed on either side of the aisle, creating a natural and elegant frame as Xenia and Daniel walked down the aisle. These airy, garden-inspired pieces featured:
-
Delphiniums
-
White snapdragons
-
Soft-hued roses to match the bouquet
-
Complementary foliage
Set within the garden surroundings, the florals felt effortlessly organic—enhancing the ceremony space without overpowering it.
Reception Styling with Continuity and Charm
The two ceremony arrangements were repurposed for the bridal table, tying the ceremony and reception spaces together in a beautifully cohesive way.
Each guest table featured:
-
A central floral arrangement that echoed the ceremony florals in tone, texture, and bloom selection
-
Accompanied by clusters of bud vases holding dainty stems in soft blush, white, and peach
This layering created a romantic, fresh atmosphere with just the right amount of floral presence—elegant, understated, and intimate.
