A Romantic Garden Wedding at The Brigham Auckland
Surrounded by the lush gardens of The Brigham Restaurant & Café in Auckland, Xenia and Daniel’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of romance, softness and considered detail.
For their wedding flowers, we worked with a refined colour palette of white, blush pink and peach — soft enough to feel timeless, but warm enough to bring a gentle garden romance to the day. From Xenia’s bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers and reception table styling, every floral detail was designed to feel cohesive, elegant and personal.
As an Auckland wedding florist, I always love creating flowers for garden venues. The setting already has so much natural beauty, so the florals need to feel like they belong there — enhancing the space, rather than competing with it.
A Bouquet Full of Quiet Grace
Xenia’s bridal bouquet was designed to feel soft, graceful and romantic, with a natural sense of movement.
I used a delicate mix of white and blush roses, white lisianthus and Queen Anne’s lace. The tones were gentle and timeless, while the textures gave the bouquet a light, airy feeling that suited both the garden setting and the softness of the day.
To complement Xenia’s bridal bouquet, we also created corsages for the bridesmaids and buttonholes for Daniel and the groomsmen. Each piece echoed the bouquet in tone and texture, helping the bridal party florals feel beautifully connected.
Garden Ceremony Flowers
For the ceremony, we created two garden-inspired ground arrangements and placed them on either side of the aisle. These arrangements helped frame the ceremony space in a natural and elegant way as Xenia and Daniel walked down the aisle.
The arrangements featured delphiniums, white snapdragons, soft-hued roses and complementary foliage, creating height, movement and a gentle sense of abundance without feeling too heavy.
Set within the garden surroundings of The Brigham, the florals felt effortlessly organic. They added softness and romance to the ceremony without overpowering the natural beauty of the venue.
Reception Flowers with Continuity and Charm
After the ceremony, the two ground arrangements were thoughtfully repurposed for the bridal table. This helped tie the ceremony and reception spaces together, while also allowing the flowers to be enjoyed throughout more of the day.
For the guest tables, we created central floral arrangements that echoed the ceremony florals in tone, texture and flower selection. These were paired with clusters of bud vases holding dainty stems in soft blush, white and peach tones.
This layered approach created a fresh, romantic atmosphere with just the right amount of floral presence — elegant, understated and intimate.
A Soft and Romantic Garden Wedding Style
Xenia and Daniel’s wedding was a lovely example of how soft, romantic flowers can enhance a garden venue in a natural and thoughtful way.
From the bridal bouquet to the aisle flowers and reception table arrangements, every detail was designed to feel gentle, cohesive and beautifully suited to The Brigham’s garden setting.
If you’re planning a wedding at The Brigham Auckland, or another garden wedding venue in Auckland, I’d love to help you create flowers that feel personal, romantic and thoughtfully designed for your day.
