Markovina's gardens are already deep green and full of texture, so a white and green palette lets the flowers glow against them. Lasting ceremony pieces on the arbour, pedestals and aisle can move inside afterwards to dress the bridal table, while light bud vases, fruit and candles suit the long tables under the vine-covered pergola.

About the venue
Markovina Vineyard Estate sits on 10 acres in Kumeū, with gardens, water features and nine ceremony locations, from the Chestnut Tree and Two Kauri Trees to the Barrel Waterfall and the Stone Fireplace. The estate hosts one wedding a day, so you and your guests have the whole property.
Receptions are seated in two spaces for up to 300 guests. Markovina also includes one of the most generous ranges of styling items we've seen, free for couples: triangle and rectangle arches, plinths and pots, vases of every kind, table runners and table numbers, easels and signs, wishing wells, and even a lolly cart. For flowers, the garden ceremony and the reception are close together, which makes it easy to carry ceremony pieces through to the bridal table and enjoy them all evening.
